Sudanese-Egyptian Investment Forum calls for completion of roads linking Sudan, Egypt
The participants in the Sudanese-Egyptian Investment Forum, that began session Tuesday at the Friendship Hall under the theme of " Towards an effective strategic partnership", called on the concerned authorities in the two countries to spare no efforts in completing the construction of the roads between the two countries.
This came in the joint meeting of the delegations of two sides in presence of the Minister of Investment, Kosta Manibi, and his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Mahmoud Mohi-Eddin, as well as the Chairman and members of the Sudanese-Egyptian Businessmen Council. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Sudanese-Egyptian Businessmen council, Ali Mohammed Al-Hassan Abarsi, addressed the session, calling for cutting the high cost of transport between the two countries. In the same context, the Chairman of the Council of the Sudanese Contractors, Engineer Ahmed Al-Bashir Abdullah, called for the Egyptian and Sudanese Contractors to invest in the domains of housing and real estate. Mona Mohammed Abdullah called for making use of the Egyptian experience in planning tourism projects In Sudan, saying that Sudan has become an international tourist attraction location. Engineer Mamoun Salih Ginawi called for establishing joint stock exchange market and called for making use of the Egyptian underground transport (metro) experience. On the other hand, the Sudanese and Egyptian businessmen held direct meetings at the premises of the Sudanese Businessmen Federation which was also a venue for a luncheon banquet in honour of the Egyptian delegation.
