 President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, will address Thursday at the Friendship Hall the opening sitting of the Forum of the People of Sudan for Solving Darfur Issue which is due to be held with extensive participation of delegations from neighbouring and other countries, regional and international organizations concerned with Darfur file, representatives of more than 33 political parties and the different sectors and the civil society organizations in Darfur and the country, besides more than 180 national personalities. In his address Monday before the National Legislature, President Al-Bashir called on the armed movements and all the society categories in Darfur and abroad to stick to peace and reconciliation. He said that the Initiative of the People of Sudan was subjected to extensive consultations and was unanimously welcomed by the political parties.
