Minister of Labour calls for making success
Minister of Labour calls for making success experiment of decreasing weekly working days.
Minister of Labour, Public Service and Human Resources Development Alison Manani Magaya, urged for changing the labour's behaviour in order to make a success the newly-adopted experiment of decreasing weekly working days to 5 days.
Speaking at the opening session of a seminar organized by the Ministry of the Council of Ministers in collaboration with Khartoum State, the Minister stressed importance of taking into account some administrative matters to make success the experiment, urging the leaders of the civil service to set examples on punctuality. Minister of Health and Deputy Governor of Khartoum State, Dr. Barmina Oriel, enumerated steps taken by Khartoum State in order implement the decision to decrease working days to 5 days. State Minister at the Ministry of the Council of Ministers, Kamal Abdulatif, explained that the current experiment gets much concern by the political and executive leaderships. A committee was set up at the end of the seminar, to be headed by Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Omer Mohamed Salih, to prepare the recommendations before the coming Thursday.
